About
KKTC is the practice of art director and multi-disciplinary graphic designer Karin K. Tweedie. Karin can provide the breadth of design services, from logos and signs to exhibition design, branding, installation, and complete project management.
Karin has created highly visible graphics for major institutions and private businesses for the last fifteen years. She worked at the Art Institute of Chicago before starting her freelance business in 2006.
Karin is also an artist and brings another level of understanding to the creative process. Her own work is an assemblage of found imagery, drawings, painting and typeface transfer. Each piece is a study in language, visual planes, texture, and graphic treatment.
KKTC is based in Chicago, but Karin likes to travel. Please note the longest period of time she is likely to separate from her cats is two weeks.
Special Skills (in addition to design + layout of graphics) KKTC can provide:
design consultations, project management, photo research and copyrights, copyediting, budgeting, builds, installation, material research, art handling and hanging
